Welcome 2019 in Lincoln Square Style

This December 31, the Lincoln Square neighborhood is a fantastic spot to welcome 2019! Many of our local businesses and organizations are hosting special gatherings, live performances, and delicious dinner menus for a memorable goodbye to 2018. 

 

Located at the top of the Empire Hotel, The Empire Rooftop is offering guests a chance to celebrate the New Year "above it all". From 9:00pm to 1:00am, party-goers can enjoy live music, a DJ, an open bar, a champagne toast, and more with great views of Lincoln Square. You can also celebrate at Ascent Lounge, located on the 4th floor of The Shops at Columbus Circle overlooking Central Park. This luxury lounge's New Year's Eve event will feature an unlimited Premium Open Bar and gourmet hors d'oeuvres along with live music, a DJ, and a live streaming of the Times Square Ball Drop! Click here for more information. Enjoy New Year's Eve with Renée Fleming at the New York Philharmonic on December 31 at 8:00pm. The concert will feature American soprano Renée Fleming, the New York Philharmonic, and Music Director Jaap van Zweden. Audiences can sing and dance into 2019 with Broadway and film hits, Viennese waltzes, and operetta gems! Tickets begin at $105.

 

Hosted at Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola in Time Warner Center, Jazz at Lincoln Center is celebrating New Year's Eve with Carlos Henriquez, the JALC Orchestra's bassist. With sets at both 7:30pm and 11:00pm, the price includes a three-course dinner menu and admission (plus a champagne toast for the 11:00pm set). Make a reservation at Rosa Mexicano at 61 Columbus Avenue at 62nd Street to enjoy a special New Year's Eve dinner with friends and family. The Smith at 1900 Broadway has a special New Year's Eve menu available from 10:00pm to 1:00am. For $140 per person, you can dine a 3-course menu while enjoying a full open bar with wine, specialty cocktails, and beer. Click here to see the menu and book a table today.

Boulud Sud at 20 West 64th Street will offer a special New Year's Eve Gala Dinner and a New Year's Eve Pre-Theater Dinner to ring in the New Year. For the Pre-Theater Dinner, enjoy a three-course Prix Fixe dinner from 5:00pm to 7:00pm for $115 per person. Or, make reservations for the Gala dinner, which offers a three-course tasting menu for $225 per person from 8:30pm to 10:00pm and features live music and a champagne toast. Bar Boulud at 1900 Broadway is also offering both a New Year's Eve Gala Dinner and a New Year's Eve Pre-Theater Dinner on December 31.
