Welcome Christie, Our Newest BID Staff Person!

Christie Klima is the newest Lincoln Square BID employee, joining our team as a Program Assistant in early July. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Christie came to New York to earn a Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies and Sociology at Fordham University, where she graduated this past spring. While she mainly studied at the Rose Hill campus in the Bronx, Christie often took classes and attended events at the Lincoln Center campus, exploring the neighborhood each chance she was given. Christie’s past professional experiences range from working in Fordham University’s Philosophy Department for four years as an administrative assistant, to interning at Bronx Community Board 6 where she participated in various neighborhood and community development projects. She is excited to take on her role with this experience, performing administrative duties and helping with many other projects in the office. Say hello to Christie when you see her around the neighborhood, we're happy to have her on our team.
