West 66th Street Closure 4/6-4/7

On Saturday, April 6, the Department of Buildings has authorized the field personnel at the 36 West 66th Street project site to erect a tower crane. The crane will be erected on West 66th Street between Central Park West and Columbus Avenue. The work hours are 6:00am to 9:00pm on Saturday, April 6 and 6:00am to 9:00pm on Sunday, April 7. 

Please be advised of the following:

• West 66th Street between Central Park West and Columbus Avenue will be closed to all traffic from 6:00am Saturday, April 6 to 9:00pm Sunday, April 7 under NYC Department of Transportation permits.
• Local and emergency vehicles will be permitted to enter West 66th Street from each end of the road.
• Pedestrian traffic on 66th Street, South side of the block, will be closed off.
• Pedestrian traffic on 66th Street, North side of the block, at times will be halted during the operations.
• The assist crane will be located in front the construction site.
• Flatbed trucks will back down 66th Street from Central Park West to the assist crane to unload.
• Trailers will be staged on 66th Street East and West of the Assist crane.
• The M66 Bus stops on the North side of 66th Street will be closed from 6:00am Saturday, April 6 to 9:00pm Sunday, April 7.
