White Light Festival 2018

Join Lincoln Center again as a series of unique performances explores the performing arts' capacity to illuminate the many dimensions of our interior lives. The White Light Festival, a multidisciplinary and multicultural fall festival, will return this year on Tuesday, October 16 through Sunday, November 18 and will feature dance premiers, stage performances, and more.

This year's festival presents intriguing juxtapositions of genres and disciplines, emphasizing the idea of community both interpersonally and globally.
The first week opens with an exhilarating blend of East and West in Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui's Sutra, featuring monks from the Shaolin Temple. The festival also features a performance of existential comedy Waiting for Godot by Ireland's Druid theater company, a free lively panel discussion of the origins of community, plus two Lincoln Center debuts: the gravity-defying Company Wang Ramirez and the hip-hop inspired dance of East London's Boy Blue. Click here for further information on times, dates, and venues.
