White Light Festival 2019

Join Lincoln Center for a series of unique performances that express human experiences through different performing arts channels. Celebrating its 10th Anniversary, the White Light Festival, a multidisciplinary and multicultural fall festival,will begin on Saturday, October 19 and run through Sunday, November 24. 

For this anniversary year, the festival will explore works that explore love and divine devotion. Reflecting
 the festival's commitment to global voices and intersections of cultures, patrons will experience Japanese bunraku (a form of traditional Japanese puppet theater), international opera, Indian dance troupes, and more--from Vivaldi's Gloria and Wagner's Tristan und Isolde to James MacMillan's Stabat Mater and Wynton Marsalis's Abyssinian MassThere will also be a free discussion as part of the festival titled "White Light Conversation: Let's Talk About Religion", which will support this year's religious theme with ideas from artists and educators. Whether experiencing cultural dance or world music, audiences will enjoy varied expressions of the human condition. Click here for further information on times, dates, and venues.
